A: Yes, Harbor requires a 50% deposit at time of booking your reservation. For stays over two weeks, a 50% deposit is required and the 50% balance is due at check in. Please note that we have a wait list for most weekends and holidays.
Q: What happens if I need to cancel a reservation?
A: If you need to cancel your reservation, it must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If the reservation is NOT cancelled at least 24 hours prior to check-in, a no show fee( one night of boarding) will be charged to your account. For the week of a holiday or any holiday weekend reservations please give 48 hours notice or a no show fee( two night of boarding) will be charged to your account.

A: Yes. In the state of Rhode Island there is a 7 percent sales tax on all pet boarding services.
Q: How late can I pick up my animal?
A: Pick-ups must be made by 12:00pm. All boarders picked up after 12:00 pm will incur an extra Day Boarding fee, ($30.00) Unfortunately we are unable to make exceptions.
Q: Are there special times I need to drop my pet off?
A: Drop-offs can be arranged during the following hours:
Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 7:00pm
Friday : 7:00am - 6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
Sunday: Closed
Please download boarding forms from the website and complete as much as possible at home. This will help expedite the check in process.
Please expect to spend 15-20 minutes with us going over paperwork so we can make sure your pets stay is the best it can be!
Q: Can I bring my own pet's bed?
A: During the continued Covid restrictions, Harbor will provide and launder all bedding. No outside bedding will allowed at this time.
Q: Should I bring my pet's food or will it be provided?
A: Yes, you should bring enough of your pets food to last their entire stay with a little extra in case you get delayed. If your pet runs out of food or experiences any GI upset during their stay, we will provide a commercial bland diet at an additional charge.

A: Yes. Current Harbor Animal Hospital patients must have an exam by one of our doctors within the last year. Non-Harbor patients must also have an examination by one of our doctors one week prior to staying with us.

Online Doggy is the #1 provider of webcam systems to the pet industry. Harbor has contracted with Online Doggy to offer our boarding clients the option of viewing their pet remotely. This is a free service Harbor provides for our clients. Online Doggy does charge a fee for downloading their App.
